Hostas are one of my favorite plants.   These are growing in a garden beside our deck.  The mottled sunlight falling on some of the leaves and the variations of blues and greens of the hostas were the big attraction for me in this painting.  I gave this painting to my wife Joan for her birthday and it hangs in our living room.
